I directed the creation of Brand Guidelines which set the standard and rules for the brand across all digital touch points. Oversaw the design and build of a bespoke BigCommerce & Shopify website that addressed customer needs while also reinforcing the flagship brand's authority in the affordable luxury jewelry industry. Implemented a product description and copy creation strategy for over 4,000 product SKUs.
Applied a mobile first strategy which improved sales conversions by 229%. Created a robust digital marketing strategy following the SMART framework that addressed future needs with actionable marketing tactics, KPI’s and prioritization. Oversaw all creative teams that were based overseas: London, Australia, Spain, Vietnam.
Created the branding and e-commerce marketplace strategies for a value priced jewelry line. Pursued e-commerce growth opportunities across marketplace sales channels which led to YOY revenue growth. Worked directly with buyers and category managers across 3rd party retail marketplaces to optimize e-commerce growth for the Jewelry category.
Increased revenue by strategically optimizing a 5,000+ SKU product catalog across a plethora of e-commerce marketplaces including Wayfair, Overstock, Walmart Stores and Marketplace, Menards, Newegg and eBay. Streamlined fulfillment processes and employed robust automations for inventory accuracy.
Sold the company to a Private Equity Group in September 2021.
Actively supervised the Sales department and documented sales calls for review. Followed and streamlined the order cancellation process and published a new company guide. Effectively rolled out the production of software changes/training for the Santa Fe Springs branch to further optimize customer document requests. Supervised 25 employees in the Supply Side department of the warehouse, conducted performance reviews, and made salary decisions. Re-designed the daily staffing model for 186 employees and mapped out employee processes to identify bottlenecks and improve daily job performance.
Streamlined the operations and vendor management department by utilizing Sales Force and ACT! Database management tools. Created and customized client pricing structures and forecasted growth. Continuously sought out new vendors while mapping out process flows to identify and change inefficiencies. Worked closely with the engineering and development team to meet project deadlines.
